5 DIFFERENT WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR OVERALL WELLBEING

So here are a few simple-to-follows, but effective tips to take care of your well-being.

Meditate

Most of us have been dealing with stress during this time for a number of reasons- academic, personal or professional. Prolonged periods of stress often lead to a lack of sleep, which adversely affects your bodily processes. There's no magic bullet to bust stress but 10-15 minutes of meditation may just surprise you! Getting used to quietening your mind may not be easy but there are a number of apps that can guide you through the process.

Listen to your body

Work from Home may have upset work-life balance for many. It's easy to get swept up in a busy schedule and forget to spend time with your friends (even if only virtually), family and yourself. So draw the line when need be. Listen to your body and its needs, and rest when you need to.

Natural remedies

When there is no cure to something, prevention is all you have. Looking after your immunity by providing it the right supplements is essentially and natural remedial herbs are a great way of doing that. Ginger, garlic, tulsi, citrus fruits are all easily available and can be easily incorporated in your daily diet. You can check out Alvizia's Milk thistle capsules which are great for cleansing all toxins in your body and make you feel fresh.

Get Physical

Sedentary lifestyles are attributed to a number of problems. Even though we're confined to our homes and gyms are closed, it's important to keep moving. The benefits of exercise are well-known and well-tested. So invest in some home workout equipment, or better yet, simply hop online and search up routines that require nothing but a little grit and motivation!

Eat Right

With restaurants either closed or still risky business, there are not a lot of options for a nice, fun meal without having to cook. Inevitably, you may turn to packaged snacks. While they are not bad for you in moderation, they tend to be high in sodium levels. However, cravings are human and the best middle ground is to find healthy snacks to munch on. Gorgon nuts or makhane are an excellent example. There are also a number of brands that sell great alternatives to unhealthy snacks.
