Adrenal fatigue means the overstimulation of the adrenal glands that is mainly caused by long-term exposure to stress. This condition, when left untreated, can lead to an inconsistent level of cortisol which is the stress hormone in the bloodstream. Studies show that people with adrenal fatigue often have an underlying deficiency of DHEA in the body which is the parent hormone that is responsible for the production of various essential hormones in the body. In individuals suffering from Adrenal fatigue, the adrenal glands cannot cope up with the tremendous amount of daily stress that occurs in the body thereby improperly releasing cortisol. The most common causes of adrenal insufficiency include:
- Stressful life experiences such as d3+
- 3r surgery
