The world of vegetables and fruits is filled with innumerable things some are good while others are not so good. Some of them can have a miraculous effect on the health while the other cannot impose such magic but all the good in some or the other way. The real task is to find out the best of fruits and vegetables that we can include in our diet to attain the maximum out of it. These are the things that are consumed that would help you to stay in a good health and can also help you in your weight loss journey. 

Superfoods you need to consume

Cherries: All of us love cherries, those red and round cherries serve as the best topping for all the desserts and cakes. Not only do cherries have a lot of decorative and tempting value, but they also have a lot of nutritional value added which most of us are unaware of. One full bowl of cherries if consumed will give you just 80-100 calories on an average that is very minimal compared to any other thing.

Chard: Chard belongs to the leafy green vegetable family. This green leafy vegetable is mostly unknown to the world. There is a fact about the green leafy vegetables that is unknown. The fact is that, that all the vegetables that are dark green provide the maximum nutrition. Chard can be consumed as a salad or can be consumed in the form of some vegetable curry. If consumed raw chard just has 7 calories and if cooked, then the calories can increase up to 35 which is also very low.

Watermelon: Watermelon is like a blessing in the summers. Helping with the heat strokes and relieving you of the summer heat watermelon does it all for you. Watermelon is 92% water that makes you feel full. If you are on a diet, then try having a full plate of watermelon before having any meal. It is the best thing to have before the meal in the summers.

Eggs: Eggs are the best example of only proteins. Egg scramble with some whole wheat roti or bread is a good breakfast option. Omelette is another good breakfast option. An egg is a good source of amino acids and vitamin B12, B2, and B5.

Tomatoes: Tomatoes are loaded with lycopene which gives a shiny bright colour to the tomatoes. Eating tomatoes can lower the risk of heart strokes.

Prunes: Prunes are the dried version of plums. Filled with the goodness of polyphenols it is one of the best superfoods. This substance that is present in prunes is good for maintaining bone density.

Walnut: famous by the name of brain food because of its shape, walnut is something that deserves all the credit. Walnut is high in omega 3 and linolenic acid, which is a good health supplement. Walnuts are effective in increasing your retention power and your brain memory.

Sprouts: Sprouts are high in fibre and other dietary content. Oats: Nothing can match the fiber content of oats. Oats by all means deserve to be one of the superfoods. Whether you like consuming oats with some milk or like to add some spices to it oats go well with anything and everything. Another of consuming oats can be by making a fine powder of it and then you can also add it to your shakes and other beverages. Pancakes made out of such a paste tastes delicious. 

The best time to consume oats is that in the morning because oats being complex carbohydrates, the body takes much time to digest it and hence more energy is burned. People on a diet rely heavily on this superfood.

Salmon: This category of fish is rich in omega 3. Consuming salmon can be a good option but only of the best quality. There are a lot of complaints about the adulteration in this industry.
