The antioxidant property reduces the risk of the factors such as heart diseases, blood clotting , blood pressure, blood cholesterol level .
The berries scavenge the hydroxyl, nitric oxide , superoxide radicals.
The high phenolic content in these berries is also the indicative of the antioxidant activity .
